The planet of Drall is considered a member of the Five Brothers of planets in the Corellian system. A relatively small planet, Drall is the home to a humanoid species by the same name. The Drall people average 1.25 meters tall and have short gray or black fur with the occasional reddish brown accents. The Drall people have a complicated social caste system, with the strong warriors occupying the highest social castes, but yet the intelligent are often chosen as the leaders of nations. The secretive nature of the Drall prevents anthropologists from learning the intricacies of this system. The Drall people legally mature at the age of fifteen, when rite-of-passage rituals take place, the community leaders cut a small incision at the base of each ear of the candidate, causing the ears to lay flat against their heads for the rest of their lives. There are no nerve endings at the bases of the Drall ears, so the young adults do not feel any form of discomfort during the ceremony. The origins of this tradition have not yet been discovered by the outside people. Since the beginning of space travel the Drall people has maintained diplomatic relations with other civilizations in this system. The majestically erected Drallan Enclave, the Drall diplomatic embassy on Corellia, is still a tourist attraction on that planet. \r\n
\r\nThe Drall planet is a small planet with low gravity, allowing vegetation to grow taller than their genetically similar cousins elsewhere in the Corellian system. The Drall jungles are particularly treacherous, occupied by large numbers of venomous snakes and insects. Local residents have recently cleared out a large jungle area near the city of Meccha to rid the area of the diseases and dangers that usually accompany these wild growths. The Drallian Sea found on the equatorial belt is a body of fresh water, providing the planet residents with drinking water as well as fish harvested from under the waves. Frozen tundra occupies the north and south pole regions, where majestic deer with tall antlers dwell.\r\n
\r\nRumor has it that Drall, along with the rest of the Five Brothers of planets in this system are not naturally formed around the Corellian sun. Rather, Drall is rumored to be artificially moved from another location, either from a further orbit or from a completely different star system altogether. Satellite imaging reveals large metal content under the tectonic plates, though no efforts had been conducted to find out whether the metal content are merely metal ore or large repulsor engines as some speculate.
