The Aleena are a short race, with members typically under a meter in height. With a long body and stubby arms they are an ungainly looking sentient though they have exceptional reflexes born out of a need to avoid their homeworlds deadly predators. Complimenting this is an extremely fast metabolism which can convert their food into energy much more efficiently and speedily than other races. With wide mouths packed with sharp teeth, there is little that they cannot eat.

The Aleena are very social people, with strong family beliefs and a hunger to see new things to share with their friends and relatives. This inevitably means that in every spaceport there will be a group of Aleena wandering around taking holovids of the scenery, and basically having a good time. They also enjoy sports quite a lot and their reflexes put them in a very strong position in several, including pod racing, which is notorious for requiring a quick response time and agile controlling.
