The warm climate of Calast III would have made it a perfect resort planet if only it had been more centered in the galaxy and not relegated to the Outer-Rim. Much of the planet is made up of far-stretching grasslands, with forests, volcanic fields, and desolate rocky terrain cropping up sporadically across its surface.
The inviting and relatively flat expanses make for uncomplicated construction which ensures that Calast III is perfectly suited for settlements and city building. Many new inhabitants have found the tranquil grasslands and isolated urban centers to be ideal locations to settle down and start a family. And many entrepreneurs, with only a measure common sense -- something the natives pride themselves in -- and just a little money, have utilized Calast III to found businesses and even a few legacies. For these reasons, though raw materials have long been Calast III's main export, it has been said for decades that the fertile planet known for its open spaces and relaxed atmosphere is on the verge of a population boom.
