Perhaps the most peaceful system within the entire galaxy, Omwat is composed of three planets and a star. There has never been a strong military presence within the area and even more noticeable is that the colonies on two of the planet are quite self-sufficient. The entire system is considered a haven for those who wish to escape the chaotic times that the galaxy finds itself in now.
The colonists of the Omwat system are characterized by a bluish skin and hair that often reminds other species of feathers. While it is entirely possible that Omwat is actually the home system of these species, the two groups of inhabitants found within are so small it is hard to believe that they originated there.
With the exception of a small amount of fish exports from Valadain and some plant exports from the planet of Omwat, the entire Omwat system has little economic revenue. The planet of Huthilion has great mining potential assuming a corporation was willing to deal with the minor annoyance of no atmosphere, and the more slightly annoying presence of mynocks.
Because of the quiet attitude associated with most of the system, many travelers will spend weeks and sometimes months in the system. It is not uncommon to hear someone say they are taking their family to the grasslands of Valadain for a break from everyday hectic life. The occasional wanderer will spend the time on the planet Omwat to check out the amazing ecosystem created from the extensive amounts of planet life.
