Crimson Dawn means many things to many people. On the world of Glom Tho I & II, however, it is simply a fact of life.
From municipal services and infrastructure to trade networks and corporate enterprise, Crimson Dawn maintains a presence in nearly every aspect of society. While outsiders often view it as a political authority, Crimson Dawn presents itself first and foremost as a spiritual institution—a universal church devoted to the worship of “The Many Gods.”
Crimson Dawn governs the planets Glom Tho I & II as a theocratic state. At its head stands Xanxus Drol, who claims to serve as a divine instrument of The Many Gods. Through his leadership, the faithful believe the people of Glom Tho are being guided toward a future brighter than the world’s turbulent past.
At the heart of Crimson Dawn’s philosophy is a simple belief: a government exists to serve its people. Prosperity, security, and opportunity for the citizens of Crimson Dawn space are not merely political goals—they are sacred responsibilities. The Many Gods are believed to favor societies that protect and uplift their people, and thus the welfare of the public is treated as a divine mandate.
To its followers, Crimson Dawn is more than a government or religious order—it is a guiding philosophy for life itself.
Religion
The theology of Crimson Dawn centers on the belief that the galaxy is watched over by many deities, each possessing unique powers, personalities, and domains. Rather than elevating one faith above another, Crimson Dawn teaches that the gods of all cultures and civilizations are worthy of reverence.
This belief forms the foundation of their philosophy:
every faith holds a fragment of divine truth.
Followers believe individuals form personal relationships with one or more of these gods, and that these bonds provide guidance, purpose, and meaning. Through devotion, work, and service to others, believers seek to honor The Many Gods in their daily lives.
Within Crimson Dawn doctrine, service to the community is considered a sacred act. Building homes, trading goods, defending settlements, or maintaining infrastructure are not merely practical duties—they are ways of contributing to the well-being of society and thus acts that please The Many Gods. A prosperous and protected people are seen as a sign that divine balance is being upheld.
Though many across the galaxy consider Crimson Dawn a relatively new religious movement, its roots are believed to be far older. Much of its theology originates from ancient texts and relics discovered within a mysterious asteroid field. These fragments of forgotten knowledge form the basis of the modern doctrine.
In recent years, the faith has spread rapidly among those who feel disconnected from rigid or hierarchical religious institutions. Its universalist philosophy—welcoming all gods rather than demanding exclusive worship—has attracted followers from a wide variety of cultures.
For some believers, the teachings of Crimson Dawn complement their existing faith. For others, devotion to The Many Gods becomes their primary spiritual path.
Government
Crimson Dawn operates as a theocracy, where spiritual authority and civil governance are inseparable.
At the center of this structure is Xanxus Drol, known among the faithful as The High Priest. According to doctrine, he was chosen by The Many Gods to serve as their instrument and guide their mission within the galaxy.
Assisting him is the Crimson Council, composed of several officials known as Boucho’s—a title roughly translating to department head. While the Council itself holds no direct governing power, its members oversee the many branches of administration that maintain Crimson Dawn’s operations across its territories.
Each Boucho supervises a specific sector such as commerce, defense, infrastructure, or diplomacy. Their responsibility is not only to manage their departments but to ensure that the needs of the people are met and that society continues to grow in stability and prosperity.
Within Crimson Dawn governance, leadership is viewed as stewardship rather than authority. Those who serve in government positions are expected to act as caretakers of the people and guardians of the public good, reflecting the belief that power exists to protect and uplift the population.
Independence and Sovereignty
Crimson Dawn exists as a fully independent political and religious authority.
Year 25 Day 165 marked a pivotal moment in its history, when Crimson Dawn formally declared its sovereignty while holding numerous star systems under its influence. From that day forward, the galaxy recognized Crimson Dawn as a legitimate governing power.
To encourage growth and prosperity within its territories, the Free Enterprises Act was enacted on Year 26 Day 134. This law established a framework allowing independent corporations and organizations to operate within Crimson Dawn territory while remaining subject to its laws and taxation.
Under this system, Free Enterprises may pursue economic opportunity freely while contributing to the stability and development of Crimson Dawn space. The intent of the policy is to ensure that commerce strengthens society as a whole while preserving the welfare and security of its citizens.
Identity
Crimson Dawn is more than a government, more than a church, and more than a political movement.
It is a civilization built upon faith, unity, and the belief that the countless cultures of the galaxy are all connected through the divine.
Above all, Crimson Dawn exists to protect and improve the lives of the people who call its territories home. Stability, opportunity, and shared prosperity are seen not only as political achievements, but as proof that the will of The Many Gods is being fulfilled.
The people of Glom Tho see themselves not merely as citizens of a state, but as participants in a greater mission—one that seeks harmony among the many gods and the many peoples who worship them.
We are Crimson Dawn.
We are Glom Tho.

And Lastly.....
Some words from our faith!
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will learn.
Blessed are they that trade: for they please The Many Gods.
Blessed are the sinners: for they shall inherit the universe.
Blessed are the imperfect: for they shall see The Many Gods.
Blessed are the Congregant : for they shall be called the children of The Many Gods.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the way it goes.
Blessed are ye, when sentients shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Eternity: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
