The Divine Commonwealth
Formerly known as Crimson Dawn
The Divine Commonwealth, often referred to simply as The Commonwealth, means many things to many people. On the worlds of Glom Tho I and Glom Tho II, however, it is simply a way of life.
From municipal services and public infrastructure to trade networks and corporate enterprise, The Commonwealth maintains a presence in nearly every aspect of society. While outsiders may view it as a sovereign government, The Commonwealth first presents itself as a spiritual civilization—a universal church devoted to the worship of The Many Gods.
The Commonwealth governs Glom Tho I, Glom Tho II, and its surrounding territories as a theocratic state. At its head stands High Priest Xanxus Drol, who serves as a divine instrument of The Many Gods. Under his leadership, the faithful believe their civilization is being guided toward a future of greater prosperity, stability, and purpose.
At the heart of Commonwealth philosophy is a simple belief:
A government exists to serve its people.
Prosperity, security, opportunity, and public welfare are not merely political ambitions—they are sacred responsibilities. The Many Gods are believed to favor societies that protect, strengthen, and uplift their people. Every law enacted, every road constructed, every hospital opened, and every enterprise encouraged is viewed as another step toward fulfilling that divine obligation.
To its citizens, The Commonwealth is more than a government and more than a religion.
It is a way of life.
Religion
The faith of The Commonwealth is centered upon the belief that the galaxy is watched over by many deities, each possessing unique powers, personalities, and divine purpose. Rather than elevating one religion above another, Commonwealth doctrine teaches that the gods of every culture deserve respect and reverence.
This belief forms the cornerstone of Commonwealth theology:
Every faith holds a fragment of divine truth.
Followers cultivate personal relationships with one or more of The Many Gods, seeking guidance, wisdom, and purpose throughout their lives.
Faith, however, extends beyond prayer.
Within Commonwealth doctrine, service to one's community is itself an act of worship. Building homes, cultivating industry, defending settlements, healing the sick, conducting honest trade, and improving society all honor The Many Gods. A prosperous civilization is viewed as living proof that divine harmony is being achieved.
Though many across the galaxy consider the faith relatively new, its origins stretch back thousands of years. Ancient writings recovered from forgotten relics discovered within a remote asteroid field form the foundation of its modern teachings.
The universal nature of the faith has drawn followers from countless cultures. Some embrace it alongside their existing beliefs, while others devote themselves entirely to The Many Gods.
Government
The Commonwealth is governed as a theocracy, where spiritual leadership and civil administration work together in service to the people.
At its head is High Priest Xanxus Drol, chosen by The Many Gods to guide both the nation and its mission throughout the galaxy.
Supporting him is the Commonwealth Council, composed of senior officials known as Boucho's, a title meaning department head. Each Boucho oversees a branch of the government.
The Council exists not to rule independently, but to advise the High Priest and faithfully administer the institutions that serve the Commonwealth.
Leadership within The Commonwealth is viewed as stewardship rather than privilege. Public office is considered an obligation to improve the lives of others, and every official is expected to place the welfare of Commonwealth citizens above personal ambition.
Independence & Sovereignty
The Commonwealth is a fully sovereign political and religious nation.
Its history traces back to Year 25 Day 165, when the government formally declared its independence while exercising authority over numerous star systems. Since that day, it has stood as a recognized government within the galaxy. Before the government formation the group existed as many factions and existed for several years prior to the formation.
To encourage economic growth while preserving the public interest, the Free Enterprises Act was signed on Year 26 Day 134.
This legislation established the framework for privately owned corporations to operate freely within Commonwealth territory while respecting Commonwealth law and contributing to the prosperity of the nation.
The Commonwealth believes that free enterprise and responsible governance are not opposing ideals—they are complementary pillars of a healthy society.
Identity
The Divine Commonwealth is more than a government.
It is more than a church.
It is more than a political institution.
It is a civilization founded upon faith, stewardship, industry, and the conviction that the greatest measure of a government is the well-being of its people.
Every citizen, every business, every public servant, and every Congregant contributes toward a common purpose: building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future for generations yet to come.
The Commonwealth seeks not glory through conquest, but respect earned through civilization.
It strives to leave every world under its care better than it was found.
We are The Divine Commonwealth.
We are Glom Tho.
We Serve The Many Gods.

And Lastly.....
Some words from our faith!
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will learn.
Blessed are they that trade: for they please The Many Gods.
Blessed are the sinners: for they shall inherit the universe.
Blessed are the imperfect: for they shall see The Many Gods.
Blessed are the Congregant : for they shall be called the children of The Many Gods.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the way it goes.
Blessed are ye, when sentients shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Eternity: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
