Twin Suns Trading found its roots as a loose coalition of merchants, scoundrels, and outcasts based in the Arkanis sector. The group operates as an ally of Jawa Offworld Enterprises and conduct a wide array of services including in ship-building, smuggling, bounty hunting, and hyperlane creation. Although many among Twin Suns appear to be reasonable but ragtag group traders and spacers, they hold no reservations about blasting their way out of a tough situation when necessary. In addition to a diverse range of smuggling ships, the pilots and helmsmen among Twin Suns have also formed a small fleet capable of defending their enterprising interests.

The first rendition of Twin Suns Trading was a subsidiary of JOE, notably traded as a shell company to Zu Icaz for a single droid. The organization acted as the premier trade coordinator between the various ethnic and cultural groups that call Tatooine home. Reopened by Jago Kell in Year 26, the newest version of TST has adopted the name but expanded upon the services offered, as well as shifted their home base from Tatooine to the asteroids of the Pii system.
