Used by the enigmatic group of women known as the Mistryl Shadow Guards, Zenji needles are deadly throwing weapons. They are 10 centimeters long and the ends are usually decorated with a jewel of some type, lending to the balance and weight of the weapon. Usually worn as decorative hair ornaments, the lacquered Zenji needles can be hurled with deadly accuracy. With sufficient force, Zenji needles can crack some forms of body armor.Made from a variety of gems and crushed glass, Zenji needles give the appearance of being decorative ornaments, but can actually give the wearer an unaccounted-for weapon which has the potential to change the dynamics of any situation.
