Ktil I is the smallest planet in the Ktil system, found in the Ktilac Regions. Its orbit is very close to the system's sun, leaving Ktil I's surface scorched. Ktil I has no atmosphere, and its surface is very hot. These conditions make it very difficult for the planet to sustain plant and sentient life forms. Due to the immense heat, the planet's surface is nothing but barren hard rock. Underneath this hard rock layer is a vast amount of volcanic material. When volcanic material is extracted and allowed to harden, it transforms into valuable materials that can be used for many construction jobs and other projects throughout the galaxy. Giant craters can be found riddled across the planet's surface due to the high number of meteor strikes that this planet sees.

Many years ago, an effort was made to colonize this planet for mining and purifying the raw materials found there, but a few of the cities built have been destroyed due to the high frequency of meteor strikes.
