Despite having no atmosphere to speak of, Ktil IV is a popular destination for tourists to the Ktil system. The polar regions have ice cliffs and stalagmite formations which are quite breathtaking in their beauty and complex geometry. These ice structures support simple life forms which feed on algae growing on the surface of the ice.

The central areas of the planet are mostly barren rock dotted with impact craters. Meteorite impacts are no longer a danger on Ktil IV as the tourist services have installed a planetwide force shield to protect visitors.
