Gracefully occupying its section of the system, the world of Savareen VI gleams a vivid green when approached from space, regardless of which angle of approach is taken. Cited in some planetology texts as the quintessential example of moisture-laden temperate world, it supports a wide range of broad-leaf plant life, with the more typical examples concentrated in the northern hemisphere. Slightly cooler due to the axial tilt of Savareen VI, this portion of the planet is also home to the largest grasslands in the system, as wide, rolling, and pastoral as any to be found in the galaxy.

In the more southerly portion of the planet is where Savareen VI distinguishes itself on the galactic stage, however. Thick swamps and jungles cover much of the surface area and these remain difficult to explore despite modern equipment. Several particularly beautiful and deadly forms of parasitic flower are found spread throughout the forest canopy, and the local government must keep a constant watch over arriving ships to try and stem the flow of poachers. Perhaps fortunately for the authorities, any such poachers are foolish and underestimate the environment they seek to exploit; fully half of the trespassing entrepreneurs never leave the jungle. While this means there are a number of abandoned ships located deep in the jungles, virtually all of them have long since been claimed by the aggressive growth and some of the local fauna, with engines and internal spaces hopelessly filled with and degraded by creeping vines and acid dripping blooms that thrive on the metals found in most starship construction.
