Both Deralia and Deralia II are frigid planets once controlled by buccaneers, who incidentally lent their name to a series of spaceport restaurants outside the system. According to official press releases from the nefarious organization, covert bases had been set up at several locations on the planet and any system authorities who made an attempt to locate them would be repelled. No such attempts were ever made, and there are rumors that such threats were simply ploys to garner publicity for their organization.

Today, Deralia II is a popular destination for cave divers who explore the submerged caverns, known as Helskiny Drop-Off, in the southern hemisphere. The water which fills the cave networks is moved and warmed by cooling lava; however, it is still near freezing and not to be hazarded without appropriate underwater survival gear to protect the diver from exposure.
