Despite having no native population of its own even though being capable of supporting one at one point, Partold II was the site for countless battles that boiled over from Partold III. Evidence of this can be found in a graveyard buried somewhere beneath the sands, which is said to be the final resting place of several million decommissioned battle droids. The epic battles made it a must-see attraction, bringing in visitors from far regions of the galaxy and encouraging the establishment of an ecumenopolis.
