Kuna`s Tail I is a tiny and volatile world that is constantly changing its own face. Over many years, it has built up massive spires out of the volcanic surface, only to topple them down again in a fraction of the time it took to raise them. The majority of the planet is yet to harden due to the immense heat experienced from the nearby sun.
Kuna`s Tail I's molten core is constantly erupting spectacularly through the planet's many fault-lines. Over many thousands of millions of years, these continuous eruptions created a void in the planet's core that could not be sustained. Inevitably, at some point several millennia ago, part of the planet collapsed in on itself, creating a massive sinkhole several hundred kilometers in diameter.
The planet has become a popular topic for scientists in the surrounding systems. There have been several unmanned attempts to get more data on its composition, but the attempts have been largely unsuccessful, bordering on catastrophic.
