The forests of Selin possess an interesting scientific oddity. These forests are made up of trees that are some of the largest in the known galaxy. They are also extremely tough, with heavy laser fire being needed to cut through the bark. Some xeno-botanists and xeno-biologists suggest that if left alone for another three to four thousand years, these trees might actually begin to develop sentience. This is due to the amazingly strange foliage that litters the ground there, seemingly connecting each tree together in a large neural net.
