Vlemeth Port II is the temperate, cooler sister to Vlemeth Port, orbiting the system’s primary at a distance of one hundred seventy million kilometres, twenty three million kilometres further than its sister. This added distance gives it a much more hospitable average temperature, making it much more welcoming for the majority of sentient life. Prior to the system government’s drive for economic productivity, Vlemeth Port II was a green, pastoral world, whose natives led a relatively laid back life herding nerf and reek, as well as farming vast fields of grain and extensive orchard of fruit trees. The planet’s stable climate with averages of between fifty and eighty centimetres of precipitation as well as long days of thirty two hours with adequate sunshine allowed the world to produce large quantities of consumable goods for local consumption as well as export.

The planet’s surface is now entirely covered in built up cityscape, with massive ziggurats and pyramid soaring hundreds of metres into the sky. Unlike its sister planet, with its hodge-podge of architectural styles, Vlemeth Port II’s ecumenopolis is almost completely based on enormous pyramids and huge ziggurats of duracrete and transparisteel, most faced with arrays of solar panels to capture as much solar radiation as possible to reduce energy costs. The planet’s government prides itself on the use of sustainable, clean energy, and most power plants utilize geothermal and wind energy, although there are a handful of less advanced power plants that use combustible fuel to generate electricity. The population for the most part is a hardworking and industrious, although there are have been some moves in recent times to establish unions to improve salaries and working hours.
