Tifnyl III B is the second and smaller moon of the planet Tifnyl III. It is very similar in character to it's larger sister Tifnyl III A and is predominantly a volcanic body. The rest of the landscape is a fine balance of the craters of dormant volcanoes and astounding rocky crops.
Despite the small amount of heat received from the Tifnyl sun the thermal activity within the moon makes the surface temperature generally comfortable for humanoid species; this has led to a limited amount of colonization. Additionally, there has been much speculation regarding the mineral treasures to be found on the moon and its small settlements continue to prepare for the potential influx of mining operations.
