A dense planet with a large molten core of heavy metals. Most probably in close proximity to its nearest sun, this planet's crust has been blasted by solar radiation in to a burnt layer of rock. Because its atmosphere has been torn away and the surface has been heated to incredible temperatures, sightings of life are a rarity. This still does not stop sentients with the right equipment from exploring the surface, and even making settlements for long term habitation. Nevertheless, with eruptions of liquid metals a common occurrence on the surface, this is still one of the more dangerous planets a ship can land on.
