First discovered by the Thyferran explorer Lusara Natuna, Borgo Prime is an icy world with a thick atmosphere. It has a few indigenous life forms, none larger than a few centimeters in size and mostly relying on photosynthesis for energy. These sessile organisms are capable of using the unpleasant ammonia atmosphere for respiration and are neither edible, intelligent nor economically useful.

Borgo Prime has a small area of hydrocarbon ocean but most of its surface is covered with ice, the only rock showing where craters have punched through to the basalt layer beneath. The planet has a very slow spin, resulting in a day that actually lasts longer than its year. As a result, the weather patterns are not extreme.
