A large F class star, Olim is not very bright as suns go. The low intensity, combined with its distance from Arkania, have caused the system's inhabitants to be less sensitive to the sun's light than almost every other species in the known universe. In the main sequence of a star's life, it has many millions of years to go before it becomes unstable and forms a red dwarf star.
