Wodenstam II is a planet in flux. Sunward, the surface is a swirling maelstrom of helium gas. However, as the planet slowly rotates (approximately 30 standard days) and the temperature drops down below 276 degrees Celius, large seas of liquified helium form. Wodenstam II's unusually high gravity keeps the swirling gases from escaping into space. The "conversion points" (where the helium liquefies/evaporates) are said to be breathtakingly beautiful, as the helium mixes with other gases in the atmosphere and is lit up by the rising/setting sun.
