Kerilt in the Algara system has long been a planet ignored by many races and factions because of its lack of raw materials. The vast savannah planet once offered broad carpets of forest, only interrupted by occasional desert or rock outcroppings. The first intelligent species to occupy the planet were space pirates who found the huge trees to be excellent as a hideout after a successful raid on a vulnerable colony. It wasn't until the Falleen arrived in the Lambda sector that the pirates were driven from Kerilt. Nowadays, the planet has grown into a full ecumenopolis.
