Calast I is a rocky planet rich in raw materials which gives it excellent mining conditions. The huge craters on the West Side of the planet show it might have had its own moon, which has either exploded or crashed onto the planet. This also explains the 3000-km long canyons that lead from the craters in every direction. The lack of an atmosphere makes it unsuitable for direct colonization.
