Oberon is the most inhabited planet in the system, with the largest population. It has strong similarities to the planet Demetrius in environment and animal life. Since Oberon was settled early on, the plants and animals didn’t evolve nearly as quickly or as severely. They aren’t as savage or dangerous. It is a very harsh planet to live on, and its inhabitants have had to adapt to the harsh environment to survive. They tend to cling together for safety by building all cities close to each other in well-protected walls. Due to this they consider that there are pretty much only two large cities. A few other cities are scattered about but in very close range to the other two major cities.
Even though they don’t have a massive population, they have a well-developed economy from the trade system set between the two cities. They have learned to cooperate and not compete, which is what has developed their strong economy. Also, being near each other and having one common government has helped them create strong industries. Since they are such large cities, they have plenty of workers to put to work in factories and other high labor jobs. Most of their income comes from their famous lum ale which they tap out of the roots of the trees on the outer edges of the planet’s jungles. They also produce large quantities of photoreceptors used for many purposes such as droids \"eyes\". Their third export is simply crops. They have many lush areas of farmland that produce abundant crops for farming during certain times of the year.
Oberon has a decent climate consisting of balanced summers and winters due to a little tilt in the axis. With an average distance from the system\'s sun and a slight axis tilt, the climate is very stable, but due to the large land masses, the temperature differences in winter and summer are pretty large. Since Oberon and Demetrius have opposite tilts of the axis, they have reversed climates, and their seasons are opposite of each other. The level topography, though, increases the winds effect on the surface. In spring and fall there is strong wind. During the winter the polar caps, due to the wind, freeze nearly double their typical size. As soon as summer comes around, the caps melt nearly completely away, and the seas grow an extra third of their normal size.
The many exotic plants and beautiful forests are also deadly and dangerous. They contain wild carnivores and fierce plants. The Dikiiti Forests cover one third of the land mass and is filled thousands of species of amazing animals.
