Matacorn II is a large, cold planetoid located in the Matacorn system, itself a part of the Lambda sector. All the planets, and even the sun, in the system, follow the same naming scheme - Matacorn followed by a number.

The planet's surface is extremely varied and consists of many different types of terrain. The poles are covered with glaciers and snowy tundra, which conceals huge frozen lakes. Overall, the planet is covered in a modest amount of vegetation. Volcanoes on the equator have enriched the soil in that region, leading to more substantial flora in the form of forests and grasslands.

Several mysterious caves are located in the northern regions of Matacorn II, awaiting curious travelers and researchers.
