The Manpha system lies on the edge of Seitia space and as a result of its isolation, was left untouched for thousands of years. The only notable developments to occur within its boundaries, such as the growing tourist presence on planet Manpha, have been within the last few years.

With the two gas giants orbiting very close together, the Manpha system is very close to becoming a binary star system. Scientists theorize that within the next millennium or two, they will collide and either merge to create a new star or simply be obliterated. Many have wondered why they didn't merge while the system was being created, but it could be that they formed on opposite sides of the Manpha sun and it is only fairly recently that they have converged.
