Tchuspera is a relic of a bygone era, a time countless centuries ago when Coruscant was a green and growing place, before the forests were paved over, and the mountains flattened for construction. The Tchuspera plant is a modest shrub, growing to approximately one point two metres in height. The hard stem sprouts many thin branches, covered in bright green lanceolate leaves. The branches start quite low to the ground leaving only a small space between the leaves and the ground. Tchuspera is a hardy plant, and can easily be grown from the seeds that develops once plant’s the small, orange flowers are fertilized, or from cuttings of the branches planted in soil or other growth media. The plant does not have any notable pharmaceutical use and is not toxic in any way and can be eaten safely by a wide variety of browsing animals. One old superstition from its home world states that bad spirits are repelled by this plant, and so it is can still be found being grown in a protective border around some dwellings on Coruscant, although this is increasingly rare.
