The standard flight mask is constructed of a high-quality synthetic polymer and contains minimal electronic components one might need for space travel. When used in conjunction with the standard flight suit, which has fitted grooves in the collar to lock the mask into place, it has been reported that one may survive for up to 48 hours in the vacuum of space.

The mask can be custom tailored for any species and, for an extra cost, can come in any colour desired.
