Phiris is a methane planet, which has a toxic atmosphere and is uninhabitable by most sentient life forms without some type of filtration equipment. It was once suggested to be used as a military base of operations for the CSA, however, that plan fell through when the CSA utilized an abandoned mining facility on Rampa II, providing a base that could respond quickly to threats on valuable assets. Despite that, Phiris is still a planet that remains unused, waiting for prospective entrepreneurs to find its wealth.
