Jiroch-Reslia is a planet located in the Jiroch system in Yushan Sector. This planet, located on the fringes of the Mid Rim, has a temperate and breathable atmosphere, home to the Tee Mountain range, the Reslia and J’ka cold deserts, and the Daporllic Ocean in the south. It has several different creatures, including two common birds and a large violent carnivore that has been driven into the southern fringes by the expanding ecumenopolis.

One of the first things one would notice about this planet is that the polar caps are located in the far east and far west as opposed to the north and the south. This is because the planet rotates on a horizontal axis, meaning that the equator runs north to south as opposed to east and west. As one heads east and west the temperature gets colder or warmer, while if one heads north and south the temperature remains rather constant.

The Tee Mountain range, located in the northern area of the planet, spans from the tundra areas in the west to the equator. Here there was little life, as the steep ridges and rugged cliffs proved dangerous even for birds. Plantlife was unable to survive due to frequent mudslides and avalanches brought on by the fact that the Tee Mountain Range rests atop of a fault line between three tectonic plates.

The two deserts, the Reslia and J'ka, are both very similar. Although the Reslia desert generally speaking retains the property of a colder desert while the J'ka is a bit more tropical, the lack of precipitation and life make them similar to most deserts located throughout the galaxy. Here there was one bird worth mentioning, which ate the smaller rodents once found in the desert. This bird, the Mircocca bird, has a wingspan of approximately 1.8 meters and can soar to heights up to one kilometer in the sky, though it rarely chooses to do so.

One final thing worth noting is the Ocean in the south. This ocean is home to thousands of types of fish and is known to be one of the most diverse in the galaxy.
