Quantxi is one of the three moons of Ord Mantell, and is best known as the sector's largest 'junk moon.' For thousands of years, Quantxi has been used to dump wreckage and rubble from Ord Mantell as well as neighboring systems. These layers give the moon an artificial crust and make measuring the moon's exact size or composition difficult even to the most sophisticated technology. For most of recorded history, Quantxi has been under the control of various mining and reclamation corporations, scrapper guilds, and crime families. Settlements of varying safety have been built atop or within the corroding hulls of the starships, storage containers, and space station modules that were deposited there over the centuries. Because most of the subterranean settlements were known only to those that built them, it is unlikely the extent of development or population at any given time will ever been accurately estimated.

Year 25 Day 124: While the political situation on Quantxi remains turbulent, most governments across the galaxy now recognize Blue Star Dominion to be the legitimate government, declaring The Mando Cabure to be a rebel movement/minority player.
