Dagobah is the most habitable planet of its namesake system in the Sluis sector. Despite this, it has few settlements and little technology worth mentioning. However, this swamp-world is notable for possessing one of the most varied collections of animal life in the galaxy. Some of its remarkable life forms are highly dangerous. Huge swamp creatures populate the dark waters which cover most of the planet's surface.
The strangest predator on Dagobah is the knobby spider. This bizarre organism, which can measure more than four meters in height, begins its life hunting in the Dagobah swamps. It later takes root and transforms into the gnarltree, which then provides a home for creatures such as bogwings and butcher bugs. At a certain point in the tree's lifespan, a new knobby spider is formed. This new spider breaks off from the parent tree and begins to roam the planet to hunt, thereby continuing the life cycle. Found all over the planet, gnarltrees remain one of the most astonishing life forms in the galaxy.
