The home system of the H`nemthe race, H`nemthe is a system of little interest to the galactic community. Most of the seven planets have little social value, although some do have economic potential. Three are gas planets, one has a toxic atmosphere, while two others have no significant atmosphere at all. Only one planet, H`nemthe, is habitable. With the exception of a few industrial enterprises, few civil colonies have been formed on any of the planets.

The most interest shown in the H`nemthe system has been from mining companies. All three dwarf gas planets are potential sites for Tibanna gas, and one is considered a constantly renewable source.  The three coldest planets are also home to extremely large amounts of rock which could possibly hold any number of valuable resources. One planet is rumored to have extremely valuable gems that are so rare the mere possession of one is believed to be enough to buy an entire planet.

Vacations are strongly discouraged due to the H`nemthe race's special abilities. Also, the practice of male evisceration after mating has caused many societies to turn away from the system in disgust.  Merchants are encouraged to attend the occasional trading gala held on the H`nemthe homeworld in an attempt to raise further awareness about the species, their homeworld, and their system in general to the public.
