From the Ashes of the Underworld, a Nation Rises Eternal
The Eternal Empire rose from the ashes of the Son-Tuul Khanate, transformed from a collection of warring hordes into a unified and sovereign nation. At its apex sits the Eternal Emperor, who rules with the counsel of the High Justice (or Commander in Chief) and the Eternal Lords—nobles tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administration of Imperial space and the legions that guard the systems of the Throne.

The Eternal Empire is both an empire and a commonwealth. Citizens enjoy the riches and security of a thriving domain, but are expected to contribute to its operations. All basic needs are covered across its systems. Slavery has been formally forbidden within Imperial territory.
Its people are proud, warriors and revolutionaries who will endure the most harrowing situations to defend their freedom. The government is structured as an Imperial Sovereignty, a system where authority flows from the Throne while regional lords maintain autonomy in service to the whole.
The Eternal Empire is threatened by those who refuse to acknowledge its right to exist and its claim to self-determination. These tensions hint at the coming Eternal Wars.
